The initial request of our clients was to propose a solution to " separate " the living room and the entrance hall while keeping the luminosity between the two spaces. Our interior design team proposed a sliding door with sanded glass that allows light to pass through while creating privacy in the living room when closed.
To complete the layout, our interior designers then designed a decorative bookcase with closed storage at the bottom to accommodate the family printer. This bookcase is placed just in front of the door, thus creating a partition which allows the door to disappear completely when open.
To accentuate the workshop style decided for the Gemino AVC door, we decided to use the same graphic language in the bookcase by using black edges.
